No longer a stoner

Saturday night my kidney stone passed. I had been feeling pretty rotten all day, no excruciating pain, just uncomfortable. By the time I put Camden to bed, I was feeling much better. Earlier in the day I drank some cran-grape juice hoping that would help the pain...it is supposed to help with bladder and urinary tract infections, I hoped it might help in my situation too. I don't know if it did or if it was just the timing...wither way I am very glad to have that thing out! I don't know if there are more or if it was just the one, I'll keep my eyes open.

Thanks so much to everyone who helped out. Uncle Mark, Grandma and Grandpa L. and especially to Grandma C. who re-arranged her schedule to stay with us for the week to help out. Luckily I didn't have many bouts of disabling pain, but sure appreciate the extra helping hands!

I've gone through this twice now....hopefully that's it for me. If not, I certainly can wait another 14 years to have it happen again. My mom says it's the closest thing you can get to the pain of childbirth....she should know.
