Busy Weekend

The weekend began with a visit from Matt's parents and their good friends, Cliff and Gwen. Cliff and Gwen got to meet Shelby for the first time.
Grandpa Lee brought his helmet this time. We all worry less about him when he wears it.
Everyone had fun playing outside in the sunny, hot weather.

Grandma Lee and Camden posed for a nice picture out on the deck. Grandma and Grandpa Lee came back to watch Camden and Shelby for part of the day on Saturday. We began our day Saturday bright and early with a trip to the Emergency Room. The doctor decided that Matt is passing a kidney stone (not giving birth after all...even though that is how painful it is) and he's doing much better with some medications.

We got Matt home at about 9 a.m. - just in time for me (Tara) to take a quick shower so I could get to my 10 a.m. class. I turned in my final work for my Professional Certification and unless I messed up on something, I should be good to teach for five more years. Then, Shelby and I attended a wedding shower (and ate some tasty gourmet cheeses), headed home, and got back just in time to attend our Sunday School potluck.

Here's just one of the pictures from the potluck. There were lots of children running around and a lot of good food. It was fun, but we headed home early because we were tired from a LONG DAY!
